often worn with pride. But for five Second Merthyr Tydfil Cubs now have something special to show off on their uniforms. Matthew Howells, Brennig Brown, Scott Urmston, Christopher Fyfe and Alex Evans are now all the proud bearers of Chief Scout Silver Award. The badges signify the highest award that can be earned as a member of a cub scout troop.

The badges were awarded to the fantastic five after two years of hard work saw them earn the prestigious accolade.Matthew, Brennig, Scott Christopher and Alex received their Chief Scout Silver Awards from the new Area Commissioner for Scouting Marc Rogers at a special ceremony held in Church Village.
